Coole House
This design responds to rural vernacular traditions through two narrow-plan linear blocks arranged perpendicular to one another, linked by a single-storey element. Rendered walls with strategically placed openings frame countryside views.
A pitched gable addresses the road, reinforcing typical Irish rural forms. The restrained material palette—white masonry, slate, painted timber windows, and vertical panelling are tied together through refined detailing to create an appropriate response to both client brief and landscape context.
