Gorey House

The architectural vision centres on a restrained form inspired by local vernacular buildings. The narrow linear plan allows natural light to penetrate deeply while enhancing views of the surrounding landscape. 

A masonry plinth anchors the building to the site, with corrugated cladding above referencing neighbouring agricultural structures. The carefully considered proportions ensure a modest presence from public viewpoints, while refined detailing unites the material palette.
