Teddington House

The project is in a conservation area, in the Borough of Richmond, London. The semi-detached house was originally constructed in the 1920’s and has been renovated twice over its lifespan.

The project had two defined elements. Improve the existing building fabric and review the house design in a holistic way. The building fabric and levels of insulation are to be significantly improved along with airtightness. Furthermore, a full M&E upgrade is to be undertaken to ensure efficiency and sustainability.

We reviewed the current design to ensure a considered approach to facilitate modern family living within the existing footprint. Our work rationalised the existing plan form through subtle alterations and interventions. Interior design proposals further reinforced an aesthetic that unifies the design and provides the client aspiration for their new home.

The result is a home that reflects each family members individual style.
